Parker's Baby Pictures {Montana Family Photographer}

Last week my kiddo and I headed to Seattle for a much-needed reprieve from winter. We went sight-seeing, ate amazing food and visited with my sister-in-law. But the highlight of my trip was reconnecting with Krissy, her husband Matt, and their sweet three-month-old, Parker. 

Krissy is from Seattle, but lived in Montana for school. She moved back to Seattle upon graduating, married her beau and is starting a family. We didn't know each other well when she lived here, but we have a lot of mutual friends and connected a few times at various weddings and events. I loved catching up over lunch and capturing some of the early moments of their growing family. 

As excited as I was to catch up with Krissy, I was crazy thrilled to meet Parker. You see, Parker was born with this head full of wild Albert Einstein-esque hair. It is his most defining feature. I had seen photographic evidence of his gravity-defying locks, but I wasn't sure if it could be believed until I met him in person. 

This kid did not disappoint!

Who doesn't love a baby in a suitcase?

I love the versatility of my studio, but there is something magical about being able to be in a family's environment, especially as they add another member. I spent some time snapping Parker's photos, and when he got tired, Krissy invited me up to his nursery as she rocked him and put him in his crib to sleep. It was such a special, intimate moment, seeing her in action as a new mom and getting to peek into the life they share together.
